Museo Civico (Civic Museum)

The Museo Civico in Gubbio is primarily housed within the Palazzo dei Consoli, a monumental Gothic palace that dominates the city’s Piazza Grande. The museum offers a comprehensive cultural itinerary, with a combined ticket granting access to the Palazzo dei Consoli, the Diocesan Museum, the Logge dei Tiratoi Exhibition Space, and several historic churches including San Francesco, San Francesco della Pace, and Vittorina. Opening hours vary by season. From November to March and April to October, the museum is open from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. On weekends and holidays, it operates continuously from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The museum is closed on December 25th, January 1st (morning), May 13th–16th, and June 2nd (morning). The ticket office closes 40 minutes before the museum closes.

Admission costs €10.00 for full price. Reduced rates are available: €7.00 for visitors aged 19–25 and groups of 15+; €5.00 for those aged 6–18; and €4.00 for school groups and Gubbio citizens. Entry is free for children under 5, ICOM members, EU tourist guides, disabled visitors and caregivers, journalists, and teachers accompanying school groups.
