Fort de Bard is a 19th-century military fortress located on a rocky spur above the village of Bard in the lower Aosta Valley. Now housing four museums, exhibitions, a hotel, and restaurants, it features significant Napoleonic history. The fort offers a comprehensive cultural experience, with a typical visit lasting 2–4 hours.

Admission costs €15 for full price, with reduced rates of €12 for seniors and €6 for youth aged 19–25. An "ALL FORTE" ticket, which covers all museums and exhibitions, is available for €24. Entry is free for visitors aged 0–18, disabled visitors with a companion, licensed guides, and accredited journalists. The fort is closed on Mondays. Standard opening hours are 10:00–18:00 from Tuesday to Friday, and 10:00–19:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. Special hours apply in August and during the Christmas/New Year period.

Access is convenient via the Hone-Bard train station, located 500 meters away. However, a replacement bus service is operating until December 2026 due to railway electrification. Paid parking is available at P0, while P1–P3 offer free parking. A free shuttle runs on Sundays and holidays. Guided tours are available on weekends for an additional €10. Dogs are permitted in non-exhibition areas on a lead, but small dogs only in carriers within museums.
