Museo Revoltella

The Museo Revoltella in Trieste is an important modern art gallery and museum located at Via Diaz, 27. It originated from an institution founded in 1872 by Baron Pasquale Revoltella, who bequeathed his palace and art collection to the city. The museum houses both the historic Palazzo Revoltella and the Galleria d’Arte Moderna, offering a comprehensive view of 19th-century art and history.

The museum is open daily from 10:00 to 19:00, with last entry at 18:00. It is closed on Tuesdays, except for National Day and Patron Saint Day (November 3). Special hours apply for December 24 and 31 (early closure at 14:00) and it is closed on December 25 and January 1. Standard admission is €8.00, with reduced tickets at €6.00 and school rates at €1.00. Entry is free on the first Sunday of the month and on the Patron Saint’s Day.
