It originated from an institution founded in 1872 by Baron Pasquale Revoltella, who bequeathed his palace and art collection to the city. The museum is open daily from 10:00 to 19:00, with last entry at 18:00. It is closed on Tuesdays, except for National Day and Patron Saint Day (November 3). Special hours apply for December 24 and 31 (early closure at 14:00) and it is closed on December 25 and January 1. Standard admission is €8.00, with reduced tickets at €6.00 and school rates at €1.00. Entry is free on the first Sunday of the month and on the Patron Saint’s Day. Temporary exhibitions require a separate ticket. An audio guide is available via the Revoltella App for €3.50.
