Gardaland

Gardaland is a major amusement park resort located in Castelnuovo del Garda, adjacent to Lake Garda. Opened on July 19, 1975, by entrepreneur Livio Furini, the park is currently owned by Merlin Entertainments and ranks as the seventh most visited theme park in Europe, attracting approximately 2.95 million visitors in 2024. The resort covers 520,000 square meters and includes Gardaland Park, Gardaland Sea-Life, Legoland Waterpark, and several hotels.

The park features 37 attractions, including 7 roller coasters and 3 water rides. Notable rides include Mammut, Blue Tornado, and Oblivion: The Black Hole. The concept was inspired by Edenlandia and Disneyland, with Furini founding ElettronicAnimazione in 1978 to support park development. Gardaland operates during the Spring-Summer season and holidays, offering a variety of experiences for families and thrill-seekers.
