Villa Taranto Botanical Gardens are located in Verbania Pallanza, on the Piedmontese shore of Lake Maggiore, rather than in Stresa. However, on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from June 12th, and during evening events, the ticket office remains open until 7:30 PM (last admission), with gates closing at 8:30 PM.
Admission is free for children aged 0β5, group leaders, one teacher per 15 paying students, disabled persons and their carers, VCO schools, armed forces, firefighters, and journalists. Additionally, residents of the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola province can enter free of charge on specific dates throughout the 2026 season by presenting ID at the ticket control point.
